All services are a minimum 30 minute charge and additional time is rounded up to the nearest half hour.

Basic Maintenance

Services to keep your computer running at its best

Basic PC Tune-Up and Repair $40/hr

Virus and malware scan, minor virus/malware elimination, dust removal, defragmentation of drive (if applicable)
Additional $10/hour charge plus mileage for in-home service.

Virus/Malware Removal $40/hr

Remove harmful and malicious code from your computer
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.

Reformat Hard Drive (No Backup Disks) $40/hr

Restore factory settings without any backups of your data.
You must have some valid install media (installation key, CD/DVD, etc.) for Windows. I cannot proceed without one.
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.

Hardware and Software

Software Installation $40/hr

Install a new piece of software on your computer and verify operation. You provide the software/license.
Price is per piece of software I install
50% surcharge if I supply the software.
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.

Laptop Hardware Swap $40/hr

Replace a piece of hardware from your laptop computer and verify operation
50% parts surcharge if I supply the parts.
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.

Desktop Hardware Installation/Swap $40/hr

Replace or install a new piece of hardware from your desktop computer and verify operation.
50% parts surcharge if I supply the parts.
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.

Networking

Services for your home WIFI and other networking needs

Install Basic Home Wireless Network $50/hr

Install and connect router to modem, verify operation, will not run cables. Does not include the cost of a router or other necessary cables
You must have an account with an ISP already. South Central will generally setup your network for you, but I can generally set you up if you use another provider.
50% parts surcharge if I need to supply any parts.

Troubleshoot Basic Home Wireless Network $50/hr

Determine why your home wireless network isn't working and resolve the problem if the problem is not with the ISP

Data Recovery

Recover lost or otherwise corrupted data from your computer
Data recovery is NOT a guarantee that you will get all your data back

Basic Data Recovery $40/hr

Attempt to recover accidentally deleted files, file allocation table/system loss, minorly corrupted files
Additional $10/hour plus mileage for in-home service.
